I'm Jess! I have been practicing Mindfulness for around 2 years. My background is mental health, and I currently work in mental health within a domestic abuse service. Mindfulness is a huge passion of mine, so I figured it's time for me to share this passion!
I began my teacher training of Mindfulness in November 2019 and am now a qualified Mindfulness practitioner.
Mindfulness has helped me remain calm during moments of chaos and has given me much needed self-awareness. Seeing the incredible benefits of practice for myself has given me the motivation to share this in the hope of supporting others to find the benefits for themselves!
Learning Mindfulness is a life-time commitment. It is called practice because nobody ever gets to the 'end' of their journey with it. This is no bad thing as the practice of Mindfulness is fun and relaxing!
I'm registered on the Mindfulness Teachers Register and I trained at the Devon School of Mindfulness as a Mindfulness Now practitioner. I'm bound by their code of ethical standards and engage in regular supervision and CPD.
